For this, you need to go to the Campaigns tab -> Select the campaign you want to modify -> Go to the category 'Buttons & Greetings’.
The chat button is what you can see on the right bottom corner of your website before the chat window is unfolded.
In order for your button to be visible on your website you need to add it by clicking on the ‘Add buttons & greetings’.
You can install the chat button in two different ways when visitors click on the button.
- The chat conversation starts when the visitor clicks on the button.
- The chat conversation starts when the first message is sent by the visitor (recommended).
- Just like the chat window, the chat button can be customized. Instructions on how to design your customized chat button are provided on the page itself.
Install footer (chat) button
Whether the conversation starts when the visitor clicks on the button, or when the conversation starts when the first message is sent, the installation follows the same path.
In terms of layout, the installation requires you to provide text, color, and positioning to the chat button.
In terms of button configuration, the installation requires you to choose if the button is displayed on every page, or only on specific URL’s. Extra URL’s can be added by clicking on ‘Add page’.
Don’t forget to click on ‘Save’.
